Biography
2011-12: Competed in eight tournaments, playing 20 rounds... posted a scoring average of 79.05... carded a 153, including a low-round of 70 at Midwest Regional at Sunset Hills, tying for 19th place... tied for 21st at Great Lakes Regional #4 with a 155 (80-75).
Before UMSL: Played two years at Vincennes University for head coach Dennis Chattin... placed fourth at the regional tournament as a sophomore.
High School: Eight-time letterwinner and three-year captain at Salem Community for David Lever... helped team to state as a junior and senior... two-time team MVP... set a school record for low away match score... also bowled for the Wildcats and was a three-time state qualifier, helping team to a state championship and a state runner-up finish.
Personal: Born September 9, 1990... son of Richard and Pam Smith... majoring in civil engineering.
