Biography
2011-12: NCAA Midwest Regional qualifier... all-GLVC honoree... all-Midwest Region selection... posted team-best scoring average of 75.88... recorded six top-10 finishes, including a ninth place finish at the GLVC Championship, shooting a 232 (77-75-80)... top finish was a tie for sixth at the Great Lakes Regional #4, shooting a 151 (76-75)... lowest score of 142 (71-71) came at the Northern Kentucky Spring Classic… named an Academic All-GLVC selection.
2010-11: Competed in 10 tournaments, posting a scoring average of 75.96, which was third best on the team… top round was a 69 at Springfield Pasta Company Invitational… best finish was tie for third in Saints/Tritons Dual… had rounds of 75 and 71 at The Jewell to finish tied for seventh with a 146... tied for 74th at NCAA Division II Championships (74-83-77 - 234)... named a GLVC Academic All-Conference selection.
High School: Prepped at Kickapoo High School where he was a four-time all-district and three-time all-conference performer... also earned all-state honors as a senior... owned a scoring average of 75 as a senior with a win at Hickory Hills Country Club in the Best of the Best Tournament, shooting two under par for a 70... was team’s number one golfer all four years and helped lead team to a fourth place finish at state as a sophomore... also a three-time academic all-conference honoree.
Personal: Born October 2, 1991... son of Roger and Martha Atkisson... majoring in international business with a minor in Spanish.
