2013 First Team All-GLVC

2013 (junior):  First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honoree… started 31 of 37 games played in… finished with a batting average of .289… collected 35 hits, including six doubles and two home runs… scored 24 runs and recorded 11 RBIs… had eight multi-hit games… successful in all four stolen base attempts… went errorless in the field on the year… recorded six hits in three games against St. Joseph’s… recorded 10 hits and five RBIs in four-game series at Rockhurst… was 2-for-5 at the plate against Quincy in the GLVC Tournament.

Before UMSL: Played two seasons at Black Hawk Community College... two-time all-region honoree, including a first team selection as a sophomore... batted .404 as a sophomore and .395 as a freshman... in two seasons, team posted an 89-19 record, winning two conference championships and two NJCAA Region 4 sectional championships.

High School: Two-time all-conference performer at St. Charles North.

Personal: Born March 22... son of Mark and Barbara Budka... majoring in physical education.
