INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis had two swimmers compete in the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships on the third day of competition on Thursday (March 9). UMSL competed in the 100 fly and the 400 individual medley.
Conley Savage, swimming out of lane three, finished second in the first heat of the 400 IM with a time of 3.57.93 to finish 20th overall in the race.
Jon Osa, swimming out of lane eight, finished fourth in the second heat of the 100 fly with a personal best time of 48.36 and finished 26th in the prelims.
The NCAA Division Swimming and Diving Championships continue Friday (March 10) at 9 a.m. (CST). UMSL will have Osa swimming in the 100 back, Zara Konstapel in the 100 breast and Savage will swim the 200 fly. The Tritons 200 free relay team will swim in the finals session on Friday evening at 5 p.m. (CST).
