INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team earned a 4-2 win over Lewis on Friday to advance to Saturday's semifinals of the 2019 GLVC Tournament.
The No. 3 West seeded Tritons picked up the doubles point before defeating the No. 2 East seeded Flyers at Nos. 3, 4 and 5 singles.
Freshman
Odette Beagrie (No. 2 doubles, No. 3 singles) and junior
Bianca Buie (No. 3 doubles, No. 4 singles) both went 2-0 in their matches on the day.
UMSL improves to 13-5 overall and will face No. 4 East Bellarmine tomorrow at 9 a.m. The Knights upset No. 1 West Drury, 4-3.
