nd.
UMSL's previous high finish was 78
th in 2013-14.
The Tritons scored a majority of their 337.50 points in the spring with five teams earning NCAA Tournament bids and two of those placing in the top 10 nationally, including women's tennis, which tied for fifth place and women's golf, which finished in sixth place. Men's golf added a 13
th place finish, while softball and men's tennis also reached their respective postseason tournaments.Additionally, women's swimmer

UMSL was sixth among the 15 GLVC schools despite having the fewest numbers of intercollegiate teams (13).
Every year since 1995, the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup has been awarded to the year's best athletic institution with points based on each institution's finish in the NCAA Championships. The NCAA Division II consists of more than 300 colleges and universities.
California Baptist won the 2017-18 Learfield Cup crown, accumulating 905 points to snap a four-year win streak by Grand Valley State.
