HOUSTON, TEXAS – Sophomore
Emma Thorngren finished in fifth place individually at the NCAA DII Championships, which concluded on Saturday, while the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team wrapped up the season with a sixth place finish in the team standings.
Thorngren guaranteed herself All-America honors for her second straight year with her top-10 finish, shooting a school record 293 (71-78-72-72), while helping the Tritons to the best finish in program history behind a school record 1214 (300-297-312-305).
Fellow GLVC member Indianapolis won the national title.
Today's round marked the final 18 holes of collegiate play for seniors
Ares Boira, Alexa Capesius and
Stefaniya Ivanova, who have been to four NCAA Tournaments, which includes back-to-back top-10 national finishes.
