KANSAS CITY, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team wrapped up its 2014-15 season on Sunday with a fourth place finish at the GLVC Tennis Championships as the Tritons lost a 5-3 decision to Lewis in the consolation match.
UMSL concludes its season with a 10-9 mark.
The Flyers took a 2-1 lead after doubles with the Tritons winning at No. 3 behind junior
Renee Verboven and freshman
Annie Hays and posted wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles for a 4-1 lead. UMSL then got wins at Nos. 5 and 6 singles from Hays and junior
Selena Smith, respectively, before Lewis sealed the match at No. 3 singles.
