WEEKLY REWIND...
Women's Basketball
UMSL began the season 1-0 by defeating Lindenwood, 70-58, in its season opener on Saturday. The Tritons received 18 points from senior Alyssa Like, while senior Devonna Smith registered a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

UMSL is in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend for the Pops Duncan Classic. The Tritons face host Trevecca Nazarene on Friday before meeting Grand Valley State on Saturday.

Men's Basketball
UMSL recorded a 79-69 win over Upper Iowa last Thursday in its home opener. Junior Aareon Smith scored 23 points to lead the Tritons.

The Tritons (2-1) make the return trip to Upper Iowa on Tuesday before hosting Robert Morris-Springfield on Saturday.

Volleyball
UMSL went 2-1 in its final week of the regular season. The Tritons began the week with a sweep of Maryville on the road before claiming a 3-0 win over Quincy on Friday. The lone setback was a 3-2 loss to No. 23 ranked Truman State on Saturday. The visiting Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead in the match before UMSL rallied back to force a decisive fifth set before falling short.

UMSL finishes the regular season at 17-14 and posted a 10-8 mark in the GLVC. The Tritons begin GLVC Tournament play on Friday with a quarterfinal round match against host Lewis.
