UMSL Sports Hall Of Fame

Following are the UMSL Athletic Honor Roll Student-Athletes for the fall 2007 semester. There were a total of 69 student-athletes who earned athletic honor roll distinction, including at least one student-athlete from each of the 11 sports. In addition to the individual honors, the UMSL Women's Tennis team had the highest GPA among the 11 UMSL sports with a team GPA of 3.348

Biography:
Inducted: 2005
Brad Beckwith was a member of the UMSL baseball team and became one of the first UMSL student-athletes to ever receive All-American recognition. Beckwith was an honorable mention All-American selection in 1970, becoming the first UMSL baseball player and the second student-athlete to earn All-American honors at UMSL. He was a first-team all-region selection that same year and helped lead the Rivermen to the 1970 NAIA regional tournament, the team’s first ever postseason appearance.
