Joel Sylven was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Ping All-America Third Team on Tuesday (June 20).
Sylven is the first player in program history to be a four-time All-American. He was a third team selection in 2018-19, earned honorable mention honors in 2019-20 and was a first team selection in 2021-22.
Sylven paced the Tritons with a 71.50 scoring average, recorded nine top 10 finishes and was the Great Lakes Valley Conference's Player of the Year. He recorded par or better in 19 of 36 rounds, including a season-low of 64 in the opening round of the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational last September.
Sylven finished his career as the program's scoring leader at 72.88.
