Curliss-Taylor Inks Junior College Standout

ST. LOUIS, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis head women’s basketball coach Lisa Curliss-Taylor has announced the signing of Sherry Glennie (Melbourne, Australia) to a national letter of intent to join the Tritons program beginning with the 2009-10 academic year.

Glennie played the last two seasons at Mineral Area College, where she was among the team leaders in rebounding and field goal shooting percentage.

“Sherry is a physical player who has a soft touch around the basket,” said Curliss-Taylor. “She will bring in a lot of playing experience having come in from the JUCO level. We expect immediate contribution from her at the five-spot.”
