Women's Basketbll Adds Local Transfer

ST. LOUIS, MO. - University of Missouri-St. Louis head women's basketball coach Lisa Curliss-Taylor has announced the addition of Shayelle Dominguez who will join the Tritons program beginning with the 2010-11 academic year.

Dominguez, a six-foot two-inch forward, comes to UMSL from Lewis and Clark Community College where she averaged 9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game.

Dominguez prepped at Southwestern (Ill.) High School.

“Shayelle will provide us with a strong body in the low post,” said Curliss-Taylor. “She is also an excellent student and we are pleased to add her to our program.”
