Koerner Misses Berth to NCAA Championships By One Stroke

FINAL RESULTS

BELLE VERNON, PA., – Junior Amie Koerner of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team shot a 75 in her final 18 holes at the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships East Regional Tuesday, but came up one stroke short of qualifying for the NCAA Championships.

The top three teams and the top three individuals not with a qualifying team advance to the NCAA Championships which will be held May 13-16, at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.

Koerner, who finished 12th overall with a 239 (80-84-75) recorded the fourth-best score among non-team qualifying individuals, finishing one stroke behind Dianne Luke of California-PA who garnered the final spot with a 238.
