Cougars Defeat Women's Tennis, 9-0

ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team lost a 9-0 decision to visiting SIU Edwardsville Friday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at the UMSL Tennis Courts.

The Cougars took all three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

UMSL falls to 4-6 overall, including 2-3 in the GLVC with the loss, while SIUE, which is ranked eighth regionally, improves its ledger to 7-6, including 3-2 in the GLVC.

UMSL will be back in action tomorrow, hosting Southern Indiana in a 10 a.m. match.
