Konkol Earns Academic All-District Honors For Second Year

ST. LOUIS, MO. – Junior Erin Konkol of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team has been selected to the 2008 ESPN The Magazine College Division All-District VII women’s at-large first team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Konkol, an international business major, is a repeat selection to the team, having earned the honor last year.

Konkol posted a scoring average of 84.4 during the 2007-08 season, earning two top 10 finishes in eight tournaments. She also finished 15th or higher in five of those tournaments.

To be eligible for nomination to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team, nominees must own a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better. Konkol is now eligible for selection to the Academic All-America Team.
