ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team defeated Missouri Baptist, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon, marking the ninth straight win for the Tritons.

UMSL improves to 10-2 overall and continues a six-match homestand to end the regular season on Friday, hosting Rockhurst in GLVC play.

PLAYER NOTES: Freshman Natalia Vaz de Carvalhais has won 13 straight singles matches and picked up her team-high 21st win in singles today, while sophomore Leanne Cantalupo has strung together 12 straight singles wins... junior Louisa Werner and freshman Renee Verboven have posted 13 consecutive victories in doubles.
