Before UMSL: Played one season at Central Missouri for coach Kim Anderson... appeared in all 35 games, starting 28... averaged 3.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 56.4 percent from the floor... helped team to 30-5 record and an NCAA Elite Eight semifinal appearance... team also won MIAA Conference title.

High School: Played four years at Webster Groves High School for Jay Blossom... helped his squad to the 2008 Missouri Class 5A State Championship as a senior, averaging 14.7 points and nine rebounds a game… shot 62 percent from the field and 73 percent from the free throw line... scored 16 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in the state title game… earned second team all-state honors by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association... team finished 29-3 as a senior and 27-3 as a junior... also played baseball for the Statesmen, earning second team all-conference honors as a pitcher.
