Biography:
Before UMSL: Played two years at Phoenix College for head coaches Mike Rooney and Kurt Palmer… helped team to regional championship and district runner-up finish as a freshman.

High School: Three-year letterwinner at Basha for head coach Ron Ifverson… two-time all region selection… also earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior… set school record for career innings pitched… also played basketball for the Bears.

Personal: Born March 11, 1989… son of Roger and Dominica Peterson… majoring in media studies.
