Before UMSL: Spent one season at Arkansas Tech where he redshirted.

High School: Played at White Hall High School for Coach Carr ... all-state honoree ... earned four varsity letters and helped team to 47-14 record as a junior and senior ... as a senior, hit .512 with 13 homeruns and 72 RBIs ... set school records for homeruns and RBIs ... led team to state finals as a senior ... team also won conference championship as a junior and senior ... played quarterback on football team for the Bulldogs, earning all-state honors.

Personal: Born August 12, 1988... son of C.D. and Vickie... majoring in electrical engineering.
