 January 31, 2012INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team has been tabbed as the favorite to win the Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division title during the 2012 season, as announced today by the league office, while Lewis University was chosen as the favorite in the East Division. In a vote of the league’s 16 head coaches, UMSL garnered 12 of the first-place tallies and earned 115 points, while Lewis collected 116 points, also receiving 12 first-place votes.

The community service project that our junior class chose to volunteer with was an organization called Food Crisis, which is located in Alton, Ill. This organization is a food pantry that originated in Colorado and has spread across the United States. People who come to obtain supplies only have to provide an ID in order to receive their services. Food Crisis’ main purpose is to help those that are in need. They do not need any proof that the... LOUIS, MO. - University of Missouri-St. Louis head softball coach Brian Levin has announced the signing of Mckenzie Halstead (Lawrenceville, Ga.), Hannah Perryman (Steamwood, Ill.), Paige Pluester (East Alton, Ill.) and Katie Schultz (Minonk, Ill.) to national letters of intent to join the Tritons program beginning with the 2012-13 academic year.
