Women's Tennis Finds Success at Western Illinois Invite

MACOMB, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s tennis team had a successful outing at the 6th Annual Hinds-Kellogg Classic, hosted by Western Illinois Friday-Saturday.

The Tritons had top finishers in six of seven singles brackets and two of three doubles brackets. Freshman Leanne Cantalupo led all UMSL singles competitors with a runner-up finish at No. 2, while sophomore Louisa Werner and senior Leticia Garcia each placed third. Werner competed at No. 1, while Garcia was at No. 5.
