ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team lost a 5-2 verdict to visiting Indianapolis Monday in the Tritons' first match of the 2010-11 season.

Freshman Louisa Werner and senior Aya Gombo recorded the lone points for UMSL, winning at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

Werner was a 6-2, 6-2 winner, while Gombo picked up a 7-5, 6-3 victory....

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The 2009-10 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's tennis teams have been honored for excellence in the classroom by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The women's team was awarded the ITA All-Academic Team award, while six Tritons were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
