INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – For the third time in program history, the University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s tennis team is headed to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The Tritons (11-5) received an at-large bid to the tournament and will travel to Springfield, Mo., to face Drury (21-2) in the opening round on Friday, May 9 at 1 p.m.
UMSL made its last appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2003 and also qualified in 2002.
Grand Valley State (19-5) will face Wayne State (Mich.) (9-9) in the other first round match-up in Springfield at 10 a.m.
The two winners will play on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. to determine who advances to the NCAA-II Championships in Houston, Texas, May 14-17, with the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority and Rice University serving as co-hosts. Go Back
