 July 19, 2010ST. LOUIS, MO. - Junior Daniel Anthony of the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team has been named a recipient of the 2010 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Award.
The Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award was created in 1992 by Black Issues In Higher Education when it established the list of undergraduate students of color who exemplified the standards set by Arthur Ashe Jr.
Each year the awards are presented to students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and are active on their college campus or in their community.
Anthony, who was one of 23 men’s tennis players honored, owns a cumulative GPA of 3.483 in information systems. Go Back
