SPRINGFIELD, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s tennis team saw its season end with a 5-3 loss to Lewis on Friday afternoon in quarterfinal round action of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
The Tritons end their season at 6-10, while Lewis improves to 16-5.
UMSL took a 2-1 lead after doubles, but struggled in singles play as the Flyers garnered the win.
Juniors Tim Bryant and Jamie Lawlor recorded an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles, while junior Alex Cherman and freshman Felipe Naranjo posted an 8-5 win at No. 3.
Cherman was then the lone Tritons to win in singles, earning a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6. Go Back
