 May 02, 2008INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Junior Matt Thomas (St. Louis, Mo./Mehlville) of the University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team has been named to the all-Great Lakes Valley Conference team as announced today by the league.
Thomas earned the honors after tying for fourth at the 2008 GLVC Championships with a three-round score of 221 (72-73-76).
A repeat selection to the all-conference team, Thomas had an average of 76.8 this spring.

NOBLESVILLE, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team fired a second round score of 305 to finish in a tie for 14th place at the Great Lakes Spring Regional at the Purgatory Golf Club. NOBLESVILLE, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team stands in 17th place after the first round of the Great Lakes Regional #3 being played at the Purgatory Golf Club.
The Tritons shot a round one score of 311 on the 72-par, 7,100-yard course. Grand Valley State leads all 19 teams with a 282 first round score.
