Widel Earns All-GLVC Honors in Baseball

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Senior outfielder Phil Widel of the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team has been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Third Team, as announced today by the league.

Widel paced the UMSL offense all season with a .371 batting average, recording 56 hits, including 11 doubles and four home runs. Widel also recorded a team-high 40 RBIs and was second on the team with 42 runs scored.
