WINTERHAVEN, FLA. - Fifth-ranked Grand Valley State used a 25-4 hitting advantage to record an 18-1 win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team Saturday afternoon.
The Tritons (2-9) tallied two of those hits in the first inning for an early 1-0 lead, before the Lakers (2-1) exploded for 18 runs.
Senior Erik Walk finished with a pair of hits, while senior Gurdine Acklin took the loss on the hill, allowing six runs on 10 hits in two and two-thirds of an inning.
UMSL will close out its Florida spring trip with a single contest tomorrow against Ashland. Go Back
