No. 18 Drury Knocks Off Women's Tennis, 8-1

SPRINGFIELD, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team saw its three-match Great Lakes Valley Conference win streak snapped with an 8-1 loss at No. 18 ranked Drury Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Pujitha Bandi was the lone Triton to record a win, posting a 4-6, 6-2, 10-1 victory over Drury's Abbey Sharpe.

UMSL falls to 8-8 overall, including 3-1 in the GLVC, with the loss, while the Panthers improve to 14-1 and 4-0 in the league.

The Tritons close out the regular season tomorrow at Rockhurst in a 10 a.m. match.
