Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team lost its final non-conference test of the season, a 6-3 decision to Truman State. The Tritons (8-7) jumped out to a 2-1 lead with wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles. Junior Stephanie Thompson and sophomore Pujitha Bandi were 8-4 winners at No. 1, while junior Yuki Takashima and freshman Kristiana Lazarova claimed a 9-8 (7-2) win at No. 3. Then in singles, junior Aya Gomob was the winner for UMSL, posting a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2. UMSL travels to Drury on Friday. Return To Articles
