Men's Tennis Takes 6-3 Match Over McKendree

ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s tennis team picked up a 6-3 non-conference win over visiting McKendree Monday afternoon.

The Tritons won two of three doubles matches before taking four of six singles matches.

Andreas Dimke and Boris Simic earned an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles, while Peter Hantack and Tim Bryant also won 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

In singles action, Daniel Anthony was a 6-3, 6-3 winner at No. 2, while Boris Simic was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at No. 3. Hantack picked up a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4 win at No. 5 and Alexander Cherman claimed a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

UMSL (10-4) will be back in action Friday at Indianapolis. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
