Gyllenborg Adds Two to Men's Tennis Roster in January

ST. LOUIS, MO. - University of Missouri-St. Louis head men’s tennis coach Rick Gyllenborg has announced the signing of Harry Heyburn (Holywood, Northern Ireland) and Tim McLarty (Oxford, England) to national letters of intent to join the Tritons program this January.

“I am thrilled to have both Tim and Harry join our team in January,” said Gyllenborg.”They will bring depth to an already solid team. After speaking to them, I feel as though they will immediately buy into our program and blend into the positive chemistry that has been established during the fall season.”

Heyburn preps at Sullivan Upper and as a junior won three national titles, including the Irish Indoors and the Irish Jr. Championships. Earlier this year, he also advanced to the semi-finals of the Irish U23 National Championships.

McLarty preps at Millfield School, where he led his team to the final of the Youll Cup, playing at the No. 1 singles spot. Since he was 12 years-old, he has been ranked the #1 player in Oxfordshire.
