Men's Golf in Third at Lewis Mixed Fall Classic

LOCKPORT, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in third place after the first round of competition at the Lewis Mixed Fall Classic on Monday. The Tritons shot a 303 and are 10 strokes behind leader Lincoln. Lewis is second with a 298.

Junior Matt Rau is tied for third place to pace the squad with a 73. Junior Matt McKiernan fired a 74 and is tied for seventh place, while junior Tim Cochran is tied for 18th with a 77. Rounding out the scoring is junior Ryan Penfield, who is tied for 23rd (79), while senior Ryan Higgins is tied for 27th (80).

The final 18 holes will be played tomorrow.
