September 20, 2009SOUTH HAVEN, MICH. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team sits in 18th place after day one of the Great Lakes Fall Regional at Hawks Head Golf Course.
The Tritons own a team score of 310 and sit 24 strokes behind leader Ferris State (286) in the 24-team field.
Individually for UMSL, junior Matt Rau is tied for 29th (37-37 74), while juniors Tim Cochran (37-40 77) and Ryan Penfield (39-38 77) are tied for 65th. Junior Matt McKiernan (42-40 82) is tied for 100th.
Ferris State's Eric Lilleboe leads the individual race with a first round score of 67.
