Men's Golf Team In 5th Place After Day One of Bellarmine Invite

DAY ONE RESULTS

LOUISVILLE, KY. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in fifth place after the first day of competition at the Bellarmine Invitational being played at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville, Ky.

The Tritons posted a score of 318, while Lewis leads the nine-team team standings with a 295.

Individually, juniors Matt Winslow and Matt Thomas are in a six-way tie for 17th. Winslow shot a 36-42 for a 78 total, while Thomas fired rounds of 41 and 37 for a 78 total.

Freshmen Tim Cochran (38-43 81) and Ryan Penfield (39-42 81) are tied for 31st, while sophomore Tim Swoboda (40-43 83) is tied for 43rd and junior Padraic Kerr (39-48 87) is tied for 50th.

UMSL continues play tomorrow morning.
