Women's Basketball Inks Hana Haden to NLI

ST. LOUIS, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis head women’s basketball coach Lisa Curliss-Taylor has announced the signing of Hana Haden (Springfield, Mo.) to a national letter of intent to join the Tritons program beginning with the 2010-11 academic year. Haden joins Kaitlin Sweatman who signed with the program in November.

Haden played two years at Kickapoo High School before transferring to Oak Hill Academy (Va.) for her senior season. While at Kickapoo, Haden earned all-conference and second team all-state honors after leading her team in assists both seasons.

While at Oak Hill Academy, Haden helped her team to a 14-3 record and a spot in the ESPN Rise National High School Invitational Tournament, where they lost in the championship game.

“I am pleased to have Hana join our program,” said Curliss-Taylor. “She is coming from a prominent high school program that has helped her prepare for this level of competition. Hana will be able to step in and help us at the point guard position.”
