Women’s Golf Signs Tayler Hoag to National Letter of Intent

ST. LOUIS, MO. - University of Missouri-St. Louis head women’s golf coach James Earle has announced the signing of Tayler Hoag (Eden Prairie, Minn.) to a national letter of intent to join the Tritons program beginning with the 2012-13 academic year.

A three-time state qualifier at Eden Prairie High School, Hoag is also a three-time all-conference selection and earned Minnesota Class AAA all-state honors as a junior. She was also an honorable mention all-state pick as a freshman.

Her highest state finish came as a sophomore, where she placed 14th. As a freshman, she tied for 24th individually, while helping the team to a fourth place showing. As a junior last season, she finished 25th individually, while her team took third place.

“Tayler has the size and talent to compete at the highest levels in the NCAA and we are very excited to sign such an excellent player,” said Earle. “Tayler will join an already talented and accomplished team and we are looking forward to the immediate impact she will make next fall.”
