UMSL Women's Basketball Triton Sessions

June 9-12, 2008

The University of Missouri-St. Louis head coach Lisa Curliss-Taylor and staff will teach you how to play tough defense and up-tempo transisition basketball. Coach Taylor’s philosophy is to teach aggressive and passionate basketball while attaining a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teammates and coaches.

At Triton Sessions you will:
• Receive direction on having a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Learn and develop your fundamental basketball skills.
• Learn what it takes to be a successful basketball player.
• Be provided information regarding NCAA guidelines and the recruiting process.

TIME:
Morning session (ages 5-12)
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
(gym opens at 7:30 a.m. each day)
** Registration is on June 9th from
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.**

Afternoon session (ages 13-18)
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
(gym opens at 12:30 p.m. each day)
** Registration is on June 9th from
12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.**

COST:
$100 - which includes a camp T-shirt!

Chris Pilz Boy's Basketball Camp

2008 Camp Dates / Sessions
June 16-20 (Ages 5-15)

July 7-11 (Ages 5-15)

July 28 - August 1 (Ages 5-15)

The University of Missouri-St. Louis Basketball Camp is conducted to give boys the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of the game from coaches and players who have achieved success in basketball.

Mornings are devoted to the teaching of individual skills. In the afternoon the emphasis is on team play
and competition. In camp, each player will play an EQUAL number of minutes.

University of Missouri-St. Louis Basketball Camp staff members will give each camper the same attention they would want given to their son or brother.

UMSL Women's Basketball Triton Team Camp

Get your high school team together and register for the Triton Team Camp!

• Freshman - seniors welcome
• Play Sunday - Wednesday, one night a week
• Two games per night
• Flexible scheduling
• Six games total per team
• All games officiated by current Triton players, athletic staff and in-training NCAA officials
• All-camp team awards

• Fun, excitement, and good competition
• Special Triton session to learn UMSL’s 1-3-1 halfcourt defense and other player development drills

Volleyball Camps

GENERAL SKILLS CAMP
July 14-16
9 a.m. - Noon • Grades 6-8 • $85
1 p.m. - 4 p.m. • Grades 9-12 • $85

The General Skills Camp covers all general skills required to be an effective all-around volleyball player. Camp enrollment is limited to 60 campers in each session.


LIBERO/DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST CAMP
July 17-19
9 a.m. - Noon • Grades 9-12 • $85

This camp is designed for those players who wish to work and fine-tune their defensive skills. This camp will be high energy and is recommended for motivated campers. Enrollment is limited to 30 campers.


HITTERS CAMP
July 17-19
1 p.m. - 3 p.m. • Grades 9-12 • $85

This camp will focus on both position specific training as well as combination training among all hitting positions. This camp is recommended for higher-level players. Enrollment is limited to 50 campers.
